Job Role: Financial Controller
Location: Birmingham (Office Based)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Financial Controller to join our clients’ finance team at their Birmingham Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Finance Team to support Operations
- Conduct financial modelling
- Ensure all Accounting systems are up to date for timely year-end accounts submission
- Oversee cash flow and capital requirements
- Handle inter-company submission of management accounts (8 working days month end)
- Manage inter company cash flows
- Provide weekly contract performance reporting on margins and debtors
- Process payments with proper authorisation
- Ensure quality assurance and financial probity
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director on business strategy
- Compile and submit accounts to Companies House
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience, with desirable experience
- Proficiency in Exchequer, Sage 50, Sage Accounts Production
- Experience in non-audited accounts submission
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work to targets and take responsibility
- Self-motivated and hardworking with an enthusiastic approach
- Reliable and dependable, committed to completing tasks efficiently
- This position is strictly office-based
