CVs uploaded to our site may be transferred to recruiters using www.ourbob.com to source candidates if:
The owner of the CV submits an application for a job posted on www.ourbob.com, in which case the CV will be transferred to the nominated email address provided by the recruiter who has listed the specific job posting on the site
The owner of the CV has given permission, through using the site, for their CV to be searched for or viewed by recruiters using the site for the sourcing of candidates
Use of the site
Our services provide job sourcing to prospective employees, employment opportunities for careers and staffing purposes. Any downloads of information from www.ourbob.com may be printed but not for commercial use. Other information may not be copied, distributed or forwarded from this site. All copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the site and the material available on the site belong to My People People Ltd and/or third parties. No proprietary rights apply.
Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations
www.ourbob.com is a job board which enables viewing and assessing; it does not introduce or supply workers to recruiters. This means we do not;
Select suitable Candidates or applicants for recruiters.
Obtain identities, qualifications, rights or training for the role to be filled.
Undertake requirements imposed by law or permit information relating to fulfilling the role.
We do not take references or carry out any other background checks.
We do not assess suitability or unsuitability for the roles.
CVs and Job Advertisements
We are not liable for:
The content of CVs and job postings stored on, or provided by the site which have initiated from a third party, i.e. a potential applicant, or a recruiter, or anyone who has registered their details on www.ourbob.com purporting to be a potential applicant or recruiter.
The content of third party advertisements on our site
We will make every effort to maintain a continuous service but on occasion there will be interruptions and delays to the site out of our control. We are at liberty to alter design and functionality of the site at any time.
Recruiters who list jobs at www.ourbob.com accept that:
The recruiter’s company name and logo will be displayed at www.ourbob.com in association with the job listing
Jobs listed on our site will be shared online with other organisations to secure candidate interest, and as such there is no restriction in terms of which other sites and forums jobs may be shared with. For the avoidance of doubt, other organisations can include:
Other job boards and candidate sourcing tools
‘Aggregator’ sites, i.e. job sites who may then share jobs with their own network of partner sites and organisations
Social media forums
Recruiters will not include contact details within the listings they post to www.ourbob.com, specifically telephone numbers, text numbers, email addresses or website addresses.
Any job listing submitted with contact details may be edited by www.ourbob.com, either manually or automatically, to remove such details
There are no guarantees provided by My People People Ltd or www.ourbob.com in relation to the number or quality of applicants for any job listed.
Bad language, in any job description, titles or any text, is not permitted, and postings may be removed if this rule is breached
All postings must be genuine vacancies and opportunities for work, without the requirement for job applicants to pay any fee in order to continue with an application. Pyramid selling schemes are not permitted
Third party liability
We are not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a third party as a result of using our site, we are also not responsible for loss of earnings, profit, consequential loss or speculative loss which includes, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Payment by credit or debit card
All payments via credit cards to www.ourbob.com are free to use.
Payment terms for services which have not been paid for by credit or debit card are ‘By Return’ which means payments must be made on receipt of an invoice provided.
We do not refund any amounts to recruiters.
This site and our terms and conditions are interpreted with English law and all disputes will be held in an English court.
Terms and conditions of business for recruiters
By submitting an order or listing a vacancy on www.ourbob.com recruiters signify their agreement to our General Terms and Conditions. Services will only commence when payment has been received and cleared, unless otherwise stipulated by My People People Ltd.
Prices are in accordance with our Rate card and for the time period stated in additional detail provided at www.ourbob.com. Any discounts agreed in writing are confidential and may not be disclosed by the customer to a third party.
VAT is payable on all services we provide to recruiters. Late payment costs stand at a rate of 3% above base rate. This applies to any non-payment of 28 days or longer.
Closure of account
Closure of account or termination of contract must be given in writing.
Contract Notice period
In the event of My People People Ltd becoming insolvent, ceasing to trade or liquidation, all contracts will terminate.
We will undertake to terminate any contracts with organisations who are in breach of our Terms and Conditions i.e. if a client becomes insolvent, closes or goes into liquidation.
We will not be liable for any instance of personal injury or any instance of negligence during the contract term for our services.
Jobs can be loaded manually by recruiters, or via multi-posting software providers with whom www.ourbob.com is integrated.
Jobs may be loaded manually by My People People Ltd upon request and subject to staff availability and other priorities. We will undertake to load job postings within 24 hours: this may be within seconds but we guarantee within 24 hours.
Our site conditions
At our discretion and without liability, it is within our rights to remove any job posting that breaches our conditions:
Job postings which contain discriminatory elements such as sex, race and disability may result in legal proceedings. At will, we will remove such advertisements without refund and inform you accordingly.
All clients must agree to act in a professional manner and you are unable to take action against My People People Ltd in the event of a court case.
All machinery and technical assistance provided to the applicant will be the recruiter’s responsibility.
Database - Rights in the database
My People People Ltd has all database rights, copyright and intellectual property rights to the www.ourbob.com database. You have no rights to retain databases or use databases without consent.
Using our database
Your database search will be in accordance with your contract:
Downloading, use of back office site, functionality, suitability of candidates.
Use of individuals for specific job vacancy.
Use of information for own recruitment purposes under terms of the contract.
You may not:
Sell, copy, forward to a third party for the use of licensed material, supply for profit or inappropriate use.
Automatically download the database
Suitable candidates are only to be used for job vacancies in accordance with data protection act (1998).
You are liable for hacking into www.ourbob.com if your anti-virus software is not updated or fully functional.
My People People Ltd is not liable for any disputes brought about by accessing the candidate database or any disputes between your chosen applicants and yourselves.
Passwords given to clients are for personal use only, please ensure that passwords are confidential and kept in a secure place. Any unauthorised use of a password is in breach of our Terms and Conditions.
All Advertisers to www.ourbob.com must adhere to our terms and conditions laid out below;
You are responsible for all advertising materials that are required by legislation and code of practice.
If we feel that your material or content is illegal, open to liability or we have received complaints we will remove your advertisement at will, with no notice.
If you are an employment agency/business it is your responsibility to ensure that your job postings comply with the data protection act, employment agencies act, conduct of employment agencies and employment business regulations 2003.
Any goods or services relating to your campaign are within your own responsibility i.e. harmful or illegal.
We are not responsible for:
the cost of running your campaign
any liability resulting in the advertising of your product
any liability for loss of profit or business.
