Job overview:

This opportunity is for a determined and proactive individual who is willing to be exposed to all areas of finance and admin work. The role would suit an individual seeking progression as part of a team and embraces the prospect of being involved in a growing organisation where they can personally make a difference.

The day-to-day work will be involve assisting the Group Accountant with set up of new companies within the international group. The role with include carrying out research and investigating new ideas with guidance.

Main role / duties:

  • Assist with expense tracking within each of the PSI group entities
  • Prepare and format reports
  • Assist on planning and implementation of new companies
  • Assist with building, developing and maintaining PSI’ accounting system
  • Assist with building, developing and maintaining PSI’ budgeting system
  • Assist with driving continuous improvements in forecasting/budgeting processes and enhance forecast accuracy, under the direction of the Group Accountant
  • Support with preparation, consolidation and completion of the group budget and forecasts
  • Review report presentation
  • Administration tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning when required
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • Work with other areas in the business as usual (BAU) finance team, to ensure we are aligned and working collaboratively
  • Maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with regulatory principles for the business
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned


Desired qualities:

  • Able to use software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and organise workload effectively

Desired qualification requirements:

  • Any A Level or a Level 3 in a similar subject
  • Or holds an existing project management qualification

Working week:

5 days per week,

9am – 5:30pm,

37.5hrs per week [all details will be confirmed with the employer]



£12,000 -£14,000 per annum
