Job Details:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Digital Support Apprentice to join a busy Accountancy Firm in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. To complement their growth plans they would love to hire a confident individual that will learn how to deliver exceptional support to the wider team and progress within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling tax enquiries via in house on-line system
  • Processing fine appeals
  • Audio typing using Microsoft word
  • Creating digital reports
  • Maintaining on-line filing system, including shared drive access and support
  • Receiving incoming calls via IT Telephony System, and redirecting to relevant staff members
  • Responding to client emails through shared company mailbox
  • Administering collaborative digital systems such as Outlook, MS Office, Tax and File systems
  • Training and guidance on all digital systems will be provided to a competent level
  • General administrative duties as and when required
  • Full training will be provided

Required Skills:

  • Fast typing speed and level of accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Someone with an enthusiastic, can do attitude and desire to progress
  • An understanding of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00-17:00
  • £9000

Future Career Progression:

As the role progresses you will have greater exposure to the day to day processes of the firm and your responsibilities will grow.

Your salary will increase to at least National Minimal Wage on completion of apprenticeship
